Workshop to help you prepare for your Standards Check or Part Three exam by making sure it is the real you who shows up on the day. It’s about developing simple strategies that are effective in everyday use.
This workshop will help you to develop simple strategies that will enable you to structure lessons to properly showcase your competencies. You will also gain the knowledge and understanding of how the competencies will be marked, what the examiners are looking for and how to apply it in your everyday work. This workshop is more than just looking at the competencies, it is designed to help you to understand how to develop working strategies for the real world, that also work on the Standards Check/Part three exam.
We will also focus on both pupil preparation and your preparation, an area that often is not given enough attention to ensure we are maximising our chances of success. The workshop will help to give you confidence that you are doing the things that will help you to get the pass mark you seek.
Arrive 9:45 where tea/coffee will be served, and the workshop will start at 10.00 a.m. We will break around 12.30pm for Lunch (provided)
It is envisaged it will finish at approx. 3.00-3.30 p.m., but this will depend on the number of questions.
