Effective all-round observation throughout the manoeuvre showing consideration to other road users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Potential deviations from expected outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Control:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Poor co-ordination of controls<\/li><li>Scrubbing\/brushing the kerb<\/li><li>Unnecessary shunting backwards and forwards<\/li><li>Getting too close to the object car<\/li><li>Mounting the pavement<\/li><li>Turning the steering wheel, the wrong way<\/li><li>Parking too far from the kerb<\/li><li>Stalling<\/li><li>Not completing within two car lengths<\/li><li>Finishing at an acute angle to the kerb<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Car Park:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Poor co-ordination of controls<\/li><li>Ending up straddling two bays<\/li><li>Unnecessary shunting forwards and backwards<\/li><li>Turning the steering wheel, the wrong way<\/li><li>Stalling<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Observation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No blind spot checks<\/li><li>Relying too much or entirely on the mirrors<\/li><li>Ineffective observation<\/li><li>Looking but not reacting to other vehicles or pedestrians<\/li><li>Waiting too long for other users in the car park.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Examples of what might constitute something that would result in a fault being marked<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Driving fault<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Re-positioning required to correct a loss of control or accuracy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serious fault<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Excessive re-positioning to correct complete misjudgement and \/or significant loss of control.
